Let me tell u a story... a love story
X and Y were very much in love, but at times they quarrelled (cause 2 people will always be differences).
And one day, somewhere somehow, X (or maybe Y) got to know someone new, Z. Due to circumstances, there was increased frequency of contact. Perhaps, even more contact between X and Z than between X and Y.
Inevitably, X starts to fall for Z. But X still believes Y is the one true love. Thus, X tries to reduce contact with Z, but the lure of the novel and interesting is too great. So another tactic is employed-to keep Y from knowing about Z.
But Y didn't become the 'one true love' of X without knowing X inside out. Y sensed something wrong and confronted X. The result was, needless to say, ugly. It could only have ended in breakup.(If it didn't, Y is stupid, and must be prepared for another round of heartbreak at an unknown point in future. A leopard never changes its spots)
X and Y separated and can never be friends again.
